And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.<\/em> Matthew 6:12<\/p>\n

\"Forgiveness\"<\/p>\n

Accomplishing Forgiveness is a necessary step in the Inner Healing process. \u00a0It is something that a person will work on until the Fruit of Unforgiveness is gone from their life.<\/p>\n

According to the teachings at Elijah House, the Law of God mandates that we reap what we sow. \u00a0Sow sin, reap death<\/strong> (relationships die). \u00a0Sow forgeiveness, reap life<\/strong> (relationships live).<\/p>\n

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.<\/em> Romans 6:23<\/p>\n

So why do we reap death? \u00a0If we do not forgive, we are not forgiven.<\/p>\n

\nFor if you forgive men for their transgressions, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. \u00a0but if you do not forgive men, then your Father will not forgive your transgressions.<\/em> Matthew 6:14-15<\/p>\n

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.<\/em> 1 John 1:9<\/p>\n

There are many reasons why a person may not be ready to forgive and we are not here to set requirements for your heart. \u00a0When you are ready, we can help you work through the needed steps to forgive and begin walking in the fruit of that forgiveness.<\/p>\n
