December 2025 Newsletter

Merry Christmas!

WOW , Non-Profit of the Year 2025! 🙌🔥

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to every single person who voted for Out of the Ashes. This honor belongs to our entire community, those who support us, pray for us, and stand with us as we work every day to break the chains of addiction and homelessness one person at a time.

We want to give a special thank-you to our Board of Directors, our entire Out of the Ashes team, and everyone who serves, volunteers, and stands in the gap with us. And from Chelsea and myself, thank you for believing in this mission and the vision God has given us.

“And let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we shall reap, if we do not give up.” Galatians 6:9

Your prayers, your support, your encouragement, and your love make this work possible. You are part of every life transformed, every chain broken, and every person who finds hope again.

2025 is going to be a year of impact, breakthrough, and lives changed.

Thank you for helping us help others. ❤️‍🔥

Thank you, Lord, and to you be ALL THE GLORY!!!

Celebrating 90 Days of New Life! 🌟

To God be all the Glory!

Today we want to give a huge shoutout to Jamie, who just completed his first 90 days at Out of the Ashes! 🙌🔥

Ninety days ago, he walked through our doors and made the courageous decision to give up the high cost of low living. Since then, he’s put in the work, found a job, is working on getting his driver’s license, and is now helping others chase their goals too.

We are so grateful to God for what He’s doing in Jamie’s life and in the lives of so many others who have taken advantage of this opportunity for real change. 🙏❤️

Jamie, we’re proud of you. Keep going. Keep growing. God’s not done yet!

🔥 Thank you to everyone who supports this mission. You help us break the chains of addiction and homelessness one person at a time.

Together, we are restoring lives, rebuilding families, and renewing hope

Together, We Can Break the Chains of Addiction & Homelessness

Rutherford and Polk Counties ONLY

This winter, we’re inviting our community to come alongside Out of the Ashes to help bring hope, warmth, and stability to those in need, one person at a time.

Every day, lives are being changed through care, structure, and genuine support. But we can’t do it alone. It takes all of us, neighbors, churches, businesses, and community partners, coming together to make a difference.

If you’d like to help, there are many ways to get involved:

🍲 Provide a meal for residents or volunteers

📖 Lead or join a class or activity

🧥 Donate warm clothing, hygiene items, or household goods, trash bags, laundry detergent, paper plates, etc.

💵 Make a financial contribution to help us keep the lights, heat, and water running

You can drop off donations at:

🏠 131 Countryside Drive, Forest City, NC

🛍️ 225 West Main Street, Forest City, NC (Second Chance Resale)

If you or someone you know is struggling, please reach out, we’ll do our best to help with food, clothing, and resources to stay safe and warm.

💜 A Place for Healing, Hope, and Second Chances

Out of the Ashes is a faith-based, Christ-centered nonprofit, but we want to be clear , attending church, chapel, or Bible studies is not mandatory. We offer opportunities for spiritual growth for those who want them, but no one is ever required to participate to receive help.

For the safety of all participants:

🚫 No registered sex offenders

🚻 Men and women are housed in separate buildings

Our goal is simple: to help people find stability, purpose, and community. Whether it’s overcoming addiction, finding shelter, or rebuilding from the ground up, we’re here to walk beside every person ,one day and one step at a time.
