“I am the vine; you are the branches. She who abides in me, and I in her, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing…If she abides in Me and My Word abides in her, she will ask what she desires, and it shall be done for her. By this is My Father glorified, that you bear much fruit; So you shall be My disciples.”  –

John 15: 5,7,8

The purpose of the Father’s Vineyard Ladies’ Fellowship, Sisters in the Vine, is to  motivate, encourage and equip women as ministers in their sphere of influence as Women, Wives, Mothers and Sisters in Christ.

Presently the ministry offers fellowship meetings every other month which provide ministry from the word, personal testimony, praise, worship, and engaging interaction as spring boards to encourage relating on a deeper level. Light refreshments are served.  And childcare is provided as requested at registration.
In alternating months, the ministry facilitates a Book Club as the format for expanding our exposure to Christian authors and biblical based writings.  We will be sharing thoughts and insights while growing in grace together (2 Pe 3:18).
Sunday school classes of varied subjects for women will be offered. Also the “Spiritual Mothering” mentoring program for older and younger women according to Titus 2 will run on
a rotating bases. With the intent of developing mother/daughter relationships between participants while also bringing awareness of the needs of widows, single women, young mothers, and working women in our congregation and community.
We will be attending the Extraordinary Women’s Conference for our Fall Retreat. Fundraisers are being planned to assist with events and defray the cost of the overall personal expense of the retreat for those who may need financial assistance to attend.
