The passion of the Women’s Ministry is to inspire every woman to pursue her God given gift. To encourage each woman to grow and mature in Jesus Christ into Godly Women, Wives, and Mothers in an authentic way through personal study of scripture and offer meaningful fellowship.
“Ministry” is from the Greek word diakoneo, meaning “to serve”. In the New Testament, ministry is seen as service to God and to other people in His name. Jesus provided the pattern for Christian ministry—He came, not to receive service, but to give it (see Matthew 20:28; Mark 10:45; John 13:1-17).” Our hope and desire is to minister to the need of each woman spiritually, emotionally, and physically by helping her to know and to love Jesus Christ and be united through the study of the scriptures and application with her sisters in the body of Christ.
Hebrews 4:12, “For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.”
Unity is vital part of ministry in growing and developing our journey with Jesus by sharing the word of God and our lives with each other as we connect with the same purpose and goal to accomplish God’s will in our lives and community.
Psalms 133:1-3, “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity.”
The women of Father’s Vineyard Church love God through the application and study of scripture in God’s Holy Word, prayer, praise and worship, and being led by His Spirit into a life of obedience to God by being conformed into His image. We love people by possessing a committed unconditional love for each woman and embracing her into the church family. Every woman has purpose and potential. We endeavor to build relationships through meeting times of fun and fellowship designed especially with subjects relevant to the needs of women. We make a difference by being committed to helping women develop into mature women of God that will change their personal lives, marriages, children, our church and community as we are committed to grow together in our faith and is accomplished through being united in Spirit.
The women of Father’s Vineyard Church invite you to learn and connect to God and each other, as we allow Jesus Christ to do a personal work in each of our hearts helping us to grow together in the faith and love for one another. The scripture says, “By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” -John 13:35 (NASB)
