Hello Ladies,

God Bless each of you! Sorry it took so long to get a ‘’shout out” of love to you. I want you to know that you have not been forgotten by God. Despite the interruptions we have and are experiencing we are still reminded that God is with us every step of the way. We have been and will continue to be impressed on our hearts to continually pray and encourage each other and we all will emerge victorious. We will emerge stronger, better, and more dedicated to the Lord Jesus Christ that will spill over into making us better women, wives, mothers, grandmothers.

Deuteronomy 31:6 & 8 reminds us to:  6 Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or tremble at them, for the Lord your God is the one who goes with you. He will not fail you or forsake you.” …The Lord is the one who goes ahead of you; He will be with you. He will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.” -(NASB)

The pandemic of 2020 has been a vastly different year that some of us have never experienced before. It has bought many unexpected changes personally and socially. We were mandated into isolation, shut-ins, wearing mask, social distancing, and to change the way we communicated with each other and our families. It bought about unprecedented changes that no one saw coming, it caught us totally off guard, and changed our lives forever.

I hope that the shut-in gave all of you a chance to slow down and take our hearts back to God to rethink life, family, church, and God in a positive way, just as it did for me. Just wanted to take a minute and touch basis to encourage you to keep moving forward in your walk/journey with God and “press toward the mark of the high calling in Christ Jesus” according to:

Philippians 3:12-16:  12 Not that I have already obtained it or have already become perfect, but I press on so that I may lay hold of that [i]for which also I was laid hold of by Christ Jesus. 13 Brethren, I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, 14 press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus15 Let us therefore, as many as are perfect, have this attitude; and if in anything you have a different attitude, God will reveal that also to you; 16 however, let us keep living by that same standard to which we have attained. (NASB)

Note:  Press means to move or cause to move into position in contact with something (God and His Word) and to forcefully put something. To “press on toward the goal” on purpose and with intention.

We have missed you; we love you, and we are committed to pray for you until we can all “safely” meet again together.

In the Love of Christ, Faye Mitchell
