No matter how much we mess up, God will always forgive us. Jesus even chose to forgive those who were crucifying Him. Because God forgives us, we should work hard to forgive others. So, come join us as we learn how we are a work in progress, living for God!

We often think about respect in terms of vertical relationships with have with others—respect for parents, teachers, and people in authority. Those are important, but equally important are the more horizontal relationships we have with people, like siblings, friends, and even people we may not get along with. This idea of valuing others and having mutual respect is seen all throughout Scripture and is a necessary way to communicate with others and demonstrate God’s love with them. 

We see throughout Scripture that all people have value because they were created in God’s image. God values us and wants a forever relationship with us. God sent Jesus to make that possible. We follow God’s example when we show others that they have value too. 

God is strong and faithful, always working in our lives. We might get knocked down from time to time, but when we put our trust in God, we find the strength we need to get back up again. Jesus showed us how to face life with resilience. No matter what happened, Jesus relied on God to help Him accomplish the mission set before Him. Because of Jesus, we can trust God no matter what. We can bounce back from whatever knocks us down and complete the mission God has for us.

This Sunday, September 13th, we’re restarting all of our elementary services! Sunday school begins at 9:30 am and Kids Church will kick off at 10:30 am. Wednesday night services will also return this week, September 16th at 6:00 pm.

For the safety of the team and students, everyone will be required to wear a mask, and students will be distanced when possible and appropriate. Student temperature checks will be administered at check-in, and our team will undergo temperature checks as well. Anyone with a temperature at or exceeding 100* F will not be allowed to participate. For the time being,  high contact supplies will be removed from classes, and those that cannot be will be sanitized regularly. We are dedicated to creating and maintaining a safe and fun learning environment for our students and staff and appreciate your efforts in helping us maintain that standard.
