Troop Standard

The Troop Standard is the official ceremonial staff and uniform component in Trail Life USA used by Navigators and Adventurers to display their Trail Badges, Service Stars, and Awards.  It serves as a visual record of a young man’s progress and achievements, replacing the merit badge sash used in other scouting organizations.  

Trailmen nail their earned Trail Badges, Ranks, Medallions (including the pinnacle Freedom Award), and Service Stars directly onto the staff.  It is used during formal events like Courts of Honor, parades, and Board of Reviews.
